Terms of Use
By using the Dounee app or the dounee.com website you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
About Dounee
Dounee is an online marketplace operated by Alshamilah Aldhakiyah Company, CR No. 7053403122. It connects customers with independent professionals, individuals or businesses, who provide services. Dounee is not a party to the service agreement between a customer and a professional, and professionals are not its employees.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Keep the information you provide accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for activity on your account, so never share your verification code.
- One account per mobile number.
Verifying professionals
A professional cannot send offers before completing verification: uploading a national ID or residence permit and a freelance document or commercial registration, which the Dounee team reviews. We may refuse any registration or suspend any account if we suspect a breach of these terms or the law.
Requests and offers
- Customers post a request that clearly describes the service.
- Each request can receive up to five offers from suitable professionals.
- An offer states the price and what it includes, and the professional is bound by it once accepted.
- Accepting an offer creates a direct agreement between the customer and the professional.
Payment
The customer and the professional agree on the price and payment method, and the customer pays the professional directly. At this stage Dounee does not receive any payments and is not a party to payments or refunds.
Fees
Registering on Dounee is free. We announce any fee or commission for professionals in the app before it applies.
Reviews and content
Your reviews, messages and content must be honest and lawful. We may remove any content that is abusive, misleading or unlawful.
Prohibited use
- Providing false information or documents.
- Requesting or offering unlawful services.
- Abusing or harassing others.
- Using other users' data for anything beyond the request.
- Attempting to harm the platform or access it without authorization.
Liability
We take reasonable care in verifying professionals and running the platform. Professionals remain responsible for the quality and safety of their work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform.
Disputes and governing law
You can open a dispute about any request in the app, and we review it impartially with both parties. These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms and will tell you in the app about any material change before it takes effect. Continuing to use Dounee after that means you accept the updated terms.
